Mercian Educational Trust is looking for caring and committed volunteers to become school governors, trustees or members.

Being a governance volunteer is a varied and fulfilling experience which brings tangible benefits to the educational outcomes of children. MET volunteers provide strategic oversight to raise educational standards; hold leaders to account, oversee trust finances and engage with our stakeholders. 

You do not need to have experience of the education sector, we welcome people from all walks of life - it is your diverse skills and experiences that make our governance team special. Full training and support will be provided.
